Kingdom Community Foundation
The Kingdom Community Foundation is a non profit organization. KCF supports various local High School students with scholarships from the H. Raymond Roe Memorial Scholarship Fund.
KCF and the H. Raymond Roe Memorial Scholarship Fund awards two $200 scholarships: one scholarship be awarded to a deserving male student and the other to a deserving female student of High School senior student body .
The criteria for obtaining the scholarship would be: 1) student must be an athlete, involved in a school sports program during the 2009-10 school year, 2) the student must carry a grade point average of 2.5 during this current school year and 3) the student, most importantly, must be an outstanding role model to his/her peers. In order for a student to obtain the scholarship, he/she does not have to posses the top abilities in athletics, nor does the recipient need to be outstanding student academically, but the student must be a real positive role model to their peers, someone who is looked up to in the school student body.
The scholarship being awarded to each of these deserving students, can be used for their future endeavors after graduating from High School, whether it is for higher education or general expenses.
